Let’s face it. There are many challenges facing good leaders today, including leading change, creating more revenue, managing conflicts, and so much more. Yet one challenge that never goes away for any leader is holding team members accountable.
Leaders who know how to hold people accountable easily develop their teams, build trust, have less stress, and more success. They also have high performing teams that are eager to meet or even exceed expectations!
Knowing how to gain accountability knowledge and skill amidst all the meetings, success measures, strategic planning, and day to day tasks can be an overwhelming challenge. For most leaders, taking the time to learn and implement everything you need to know to hold people accountable can be costly and draining.
Where do you even start?
I know it can seem overwhelming and unrealistic to consider the processes or systems necessary to engage your team and create an accountability culture.
Taking the confusion, irritation, stress, and overwhelm out of the process is exactly why I created the BE AN ACCOUNTABILITY LEADER course.
Helping leaders maneuver through the maze of managing expectations, uncomfortable conversations, and eliciting the right results is my sweet spot. And it includes great things like dignity, restoration instead of blame, and quality feedback and learning!
You can kick off your 2021 with a high functioning team, less stress, and A LOT more success!
IMAGINE…
…if you could start the year with the confidence, knowledge, behaviors, and plans to increase your accountability and team’s accountability.
…if you had a disciplined process that will not only hold people accountable but will make your team appreciate and respect your leadership even more.
…if you had a high performing team that is eager to meet or exceed your expectations.
…if you were able to have a profound and lasting impact on your team as they grow through the knowledge and experience you bring to the accountability process.
…if you had the engagement and productivity of a fantastic team with a soaring revenue while being an unshakeable leader.

The BE AN ACCOUNTABILITY LEADER course is everything you need to eliminate accountability failures in your organization.
Now you can come together with a group of other leaders who are ready to transform as well. You’ll share and learn together while being expertly guided through each of the eight modules.
As an introduction to accountability, we’ll see videos of poor accountability leadership and of how an Accountability Leader behaves. You’ll tell the difference and identify new behaviors you will need to add to your leadership toolbox.
We’ll explore your core values as a leader using the Core Values Index and show you how to use and implement what you’ve learned immediately. You’ll not only know more about yourself, but you’ll easily understand why others do what they do as well. You’ll see why this plays a part in your accountability culture.
The Accountability Process involves multiple steps and some discipline. Don’t worry; I’ll walk you through the simple steps and give you everything you need to successfully maneuver crystal clear expectations, capability vs. capacity, and determining measures of success.
Believe it or not, you’re not done once you’ve completed your accountability process. As the leader, you need to follow up with feedback. We’ll discuss the different kinds of feedback and how you can circumvent conflict in the future.
What happens when someone keeps letting you down repeatedly? We’ve got an answer. You need to address the correct problem, and we’ll teach you how.
One of the most significant barriers to leaders is the inability to have an uncomfortable conversation. And let’s face it, when you need to hold someone accountable, it can be painful. We’ll teach you how to have these conversations with ease.
Many leaders wonder whether everything requires accountability. When is it ok to let it go? When does it have to be addressed? We’ll wrap up the course with a specific tool to help you make that determination.

Hi! I’m Lynn Zettler, a successful ICF Professional Certified Coach and Consultant with over 30 years of leadership and coaching experience. Here are a few things you’ll want to know about me:
I LOVE working with leaders and helping them learn to make accountability and accountability conversations easy and stress-free. Through my experience, training, research, and reading, I’ve been able to distill a straightforward, disciplined process so that you’ll be able to infuse accountability into your culture while developing your team at the same time!
I launched my coaching business in 2005, after a 20-year stint as a leader in a Fortune 50 company. While I love spending time with my executive clients one-on-one as their coach, I realize courses like this can impact many more leaders in my quest to change the world one leader at a time.
Accountability doesn’t have to be complicated or stressful. I’ll walk you step by step through the processes and models to become an Accountability Leader with ease.
"Considering all of the areas I've worked with Lynn in my leadership development, I’d say accountability is one of the most impactful. Holding people accountable is now second nature to me, making sure deadlines are set and met and following up when needed is part of my daily responsibilities as HR. I am much more aware of making sure expectations are crystal clear, and that we have an agreement as to the deliverables and timeline.
Making sure that my expectations and communications were clear in all my interactions has made a big difference for me. Where previously I may have been disappointed or frustrated if I didn’t receive a deliverable, it has made me reflect on whether or not I had been clear when I wanted something due in.
I also gained confidence during this process - not being concerned to call somebody out who missed a deadline and understanding that it is helping their continued professional development. My feedback has become much more streamlined, with specific examples of how improvements can be made. I also ensure to follow up accordingly to help keep team members on track.
Lynn is always supportive and helps me to challenge myself when needed. She is diligent in following up with me and making sure I am successful in hitting the goals I set for myself, and in being a strong accountability example for others."
"Accountability has been a problem that is overlooked because it’s so uncomfortable for people to engage in. Most people would rather turn their heads in another direction or focus on goals and objectives. Re-directive coaching is delicate. Most managers lack the skill of framing the discussion properly and therefore never get to the task of engaging employees in the process of seeking improvement or holding them accountable. To make problems worse, or perhaps the root cause, employees are held accountable to the boss’s objectives, not of a self-described, self-prescribed performance factor.
I found that the root cause is usually based on the coaching discussion. The coach listens, the employee creates his own shelves to reach for to be held accountable. If the coach does all the talking and devises the measures of accountability, the coachee sees this as noise that comes from a lack of understanding, therefore, does not value the discussion, and change never occurs.
Getting back to the basics of having a sound coaching discussion as described above and using those techniques in every situation creates consistency in the delivery. When the employee or coachee sees the approach's consistency, a comfort level follows, and results are positive.
I changed as a leader during my work with Lynn by honing my skills to prepare me for roles beyond my then-current capabilities.
Lynn is a true coach, listening and questioning, allowing me to think about my responses, formulating a strategy based on my own thoughts, and never taking on the advisor's role."
Because we find ourselves in the current global economic health and humanity crisis, I am discounting the course for all.
Please take advantage of this while the offer lasts. What I want for you is to hit the ground running in 2021 to transform your leadership and organization’s accountability culture!
Commit and work with me to get it done!!!
